- Appearance & Color: Heartwood tends to be a golden or medium brown, with color darkening as it ages
- Grain & Texture: Grain is straight, though it can occasionally be wavy or interlocked. Coarse, uneven texture and moderate to low natural luster
- Machinability: Produces good results with hand or machine tools
- Finishing: Takes all finishes well, pigmented stains will bring out the grain nicely

The Sparrow Peak Teak countertops arrive pre-finished with a satin polyurethane finish. This product will not need to be sealed directly from the store unless you customize it with cuts.
If you have custom cut any areas of the countertops or otherwise need touchup stain, we recommend the colors below for the best match. For best results, test a small area to ensure the color matching is to your satisfaction before proceeding.
